Neko, or Neko, is a Japanese mythical cat god. The Japanese and fans of anime culture with this word mean cats in general, and some ears (cat ears) have become an attribute of the costume of the followers of this costume. Although it is not difficult to buy such an ornament, no ears will decorate the image as much as hand-made.
It is necessary
- Fur or velvet of any color;
- Satin fabric of pale pink color or matching the fur;
- Wire;
- Women's headband;
- Sewing machine or thread with a needle;
- Glue;
- Ribbons, bows, rhinestones.
Instructions
Step 1
The wire should be thick enough not to break with use, but flexible. A steel wire with a cross-sectional diameter of 1-2 mm copes well with the task. With a larger diameter, you will not be able to screw it onto the bezel without assistance or additional tools. Divide the wire into two pieces and bend it in the shape of the future ears, leaving a small margin around the edges. Screw it to the rim in the places where the ears will be located.
Step 2
From fur (or velvet) and fabric, cut out two triangles according to the size of the future ears, but with a small allowance for the seams (along the edges up to 1 cm). Fold two triangles (one fur and one satin) facing inward and sew on both sides (leave the base). Repeat with another pair of triangles.
Step 3
Unscrew the ears and slide over the wire frame. Grease the base with glue, hide the edges of the fabric inside. Mask the attachment points of some ears with a piece of fur, ribbons, bows or rhinestones.
Step 4
Style the entire bezel if you want. Sheathe it with fur or fabric, additionally decorate it with embroidery or applique from any available material. Attach a flower (artificial or natural) if desired.
