Many people want to be like TV heroes who shoot targets so masterly and accurately. However, not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance. To hit the target exactly, you must follow a number of rules.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose a shooting position that is comfortable for you. This can be either a front stand or a position sideways to the target.

With a frontal stand (facing the target), it is more convenient to shoot in the pistol position with two hands. In this position, the hands are placed as follows: in your right hand, hold the pistol by the grip, and substitute your left hand, palm up, as a support under your right hand with the pistol. Both arms are extended forward. Thus, you provide additional support for the shooting hand. Legs shoulder-width apart, the body in the shoulder girdle is tilted slightly forward.

With a side stand (right leg forward), it is more convenient to shoot with one hand. The arm is extended with a pistol towards the target and is, as it were, a continuation of the shoulder girdle, on the same horizontal line with it.

With a side stand (left leg forward), it is more convenient to shoot with two hands in a position where the left arm is slightly bent at the elbow and directed with the elbow towards the target. In this case, the elbow of the left hand is the rest for the right hand holding the pistol.

These shooting positions are described for people with a dominant right hand. For a left-handed person, the side posts are viewed in mirror image.

Step 2

After choosing the most convenient shooting position for yourself, you need to practice with an unloaded pistol. Those. stand up, point the pistol towards the target and fire “blank” shots. In this case, the trigger must be squeezed smoothly with the index finger so that the pistol barrel does not "peck". To check after firing a shot, leave your hand in the same position and look at the rear sight and front sight, in which direction the barrel is looking. For a perfect shot, the direction of the muzzle of the barrel should remain the same as before the shot, i.e. towards the target.

Step 3

After practicing "empty" shots, fire directly with projectiles (bullets) aiming at the target in several positions: aiming at the center of the target, above the center of the target and at the same distance below the center of the target. This is done in order to determine the aim of the pistol. Those. at what distance and in what direction is the deflection of the projectile hitting the target in relation to the aiming point on the target. So, experimentally, you can calculate for yourself where on the target you need to aim in order for the bullet to hit the center (calculate the deviation of the actual hit from the aiming point). Based on the test shots carried out, adjust the aiming at the target itself and fire test shots.
