When decorating various handmade products, in decorating clothes, in scrapbooking, various bows are used, but often they turn out to be careless and uneven. This can be easily avoided by making a very simple cardboard fixture.
It is necessary
- - cardboard
- - scissors
- - pencil
- - satin tape
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all materials: cardboard, scissors, pencil and tape. It is best to take the cardboard denser, for further convenience in making a bow.
Step 2
Determine what size you will have a bow. Transfer the width of the future bow to the cardboard, mark these places with a pencil, draw two parallel lines, 10 cm long, through the mark. Connect the ends of the lines.
Step 3
Cut the resulting rectangle out of the cardboard. Find the center of this rectangle, from it set aside 3-4 mm in both directions, draw two parallel lines, 4-5 cm long. Connect with a line. Cut out the resulting rectangle, we do not need it. The basis for making a bow is ready.
Step 4
Start making the bow itself. Cut the tape, put a cardboard base on it, now put the left end of the tape on the front side of the base, and insert the right end of the tape into the hole in the base under the left end of the tape. Insert the left end also into the hole, but already over the right end. Flip the base over and tie a regular knot with the ends of the ribbon.
Step 5
The bow is ready, you can remove it from the base and safely use it in your needlework.
