Beading is a fascinating hobby with a wide variety of techniques. You can weave jewelry and beaded figures using a thread and a needle, fishing line or wire - each technique is chosen by the craftswoman, depending on what pattern she uses for weaving, and whether she plans to create three-dimensional figures. For products that need to keep their shape, it is convenient to use a special thin wire for weaving.
Instructions
Step 1
Unlike weaving with a thread, when working with a wire, you do not need a bead needle - its role is played by the sharp tip of the wire itself, with which you collect the required number of beads according to the pattern. Cutting the desired length of the wire, add a few centimeters of extra length to it, so that later you can fix the product.
Step 2
Start weaving from the middle of the wire segment - for convenience, you can mark the center point of the segment with tape, and then dial several beads and cross both ends of the wire through them to outline the starting point of the future product. You should have two symmetrical ends of the wire on the sides.
Step 3
In the process of weaving, gently straighten and straighten the wire, avoiding the appearance of kinks that violate the strength and integrity of the product and make it difficult for the wire to pass through the small beaded holes. If the wire breaks or breaks due to a crease or for any other reason, take a new piece and twist its end with the broken end as tightly and firmly as possible.
Step 4
Fix the resulting twist with new beads or bend it to the wrong side of the product. When you need to finish the piece, pull the ends of the wire through a couple of rows to fix the outer edge of the woven figurine, and cut off the excess ends.
Step 5
If you are weaving a toy or decoration consisting of several braided modules that need to be connected together, connect them with a separate piece of thin wire.
Step 6
When stringing beads on the wire, carefully tighten the ends of the wire so that the product is tight and the beads adhere nicely to each other. In the process of weaving, carefully follow the directions of the diagram to get a symmetrical and neat figure.
