To mount the holder body with an electric motor, bend an aluminum strip of the required size at right angles, fasten the short side tightly with tape to the motor, and attach the body from the handle to the long side in the same way. Step 4
To connect the needle to the motor and to impart a forward and reverse motion to it, the motor must have a connecting wheel. Pick up a plastic gear or a wheel from the kinematics where the motor was taken from, from an old watch or similar devices of a suitable height. At some distance from the center of the wheel, melt a through hole slightly larger than the diameter of the string with a hot needle. Slide the coupling wheel firmly onto the motor shaft.
Step 5
The needle should be made from the first string from the guitar, its diameter should be about 0.2 mm, imported strings are best suited, they do not rust so quickly, or do not oxidize or rust at all. Measure the distance from the hole (far position) on the motor coupling wheel to the hole in the tip. Bend a piece of string at a right angle so that the smaller side is slightly larger than the thickness of the connecting wheel (also in the far position), and the tip of the long side protrudes 0.5-1.5 mm from the tip, do not rush to cut, so as not to make a mistake …
You need to sharpen the needle before assembly, first on a touchstone, then on a micron sandpaper.
Step 6
Assemble the electrician in the following circuit: engine - wire - switch - wire - power supply. Now put the whole structure together, having thoroughly insulated the wiring, once again wrap the tape for the connection of the tattoo machine for reliability. And one more thing: in order to avoid the beating of the needle, bend the string smoothly and not very much from the tip, about 1.5 cm from the tip, check it in operation, if necessary repeat this operation.
