To decorate the house for the New Year's celebration, it is not at all necessary to go to the store for toys. You can make wonderful garlands and decorations for the Christmas tree with your own hands. The easiest way to do paper crafts. They are not very difficult to make, but they look pretty impressive.

Instructions
Step 1
Make snowflakes. Take a square piece of lightweight paper and fold it in four. Divide the resulting square mentally or with a pencil into 3 equal sectors and fold again. Draw an ornament on the resulting triangle and cut it out. You will get a snowflake with 6 rays. It is good to use double-sided colored paper for snowflakes. Small snowflakes can be mounted on a Christmas tree or on window panes.
Step 2
Make a garland of snowflakes. On a strong thread or fishing line, hang small snowflakes cut from paper on the strings. Fasten them at different heights. Choose thick paper for snowflakes. Use strong threads.
Step 3
Grind all scraps of colored paper after making crafts and fill them in transparent bags or tubes. Add foil trimmings. These decorations can be used as confetti or to decorate the Christmas tree.
Step 4
Cut out the paper garlands. Fold a long strip of white or colored paper in an accordion manner. Draw with a pencil the halves of the little people or animals that are holding hands and cut out. A finished garland made of thick or colored paper can be placed on the table or near the Christmas tree. A thin paper garland can be hung.
Step 5
Involve children in making jewelry. Cut and glue chain garlands from colored paper or serpentine. Cut the paper into thin strips. Glue the strips into rings, connecting them to each other.
Step 6
Make paper figures of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. To do this, cut out a semicircle from thick paper and glue it into a cone. This will be the foundation. Paint the cone or stick colored parts on it. Curl your mustache and hair out of thin paper strips. Draw the eyes, mouth and nose.
Step 7
Cut out the stars and the month from colored double-sided cardboard. Apply glue evenly over the entire surface or in spots on both sides of the figures. Sprinkle glitter or shredded foil over the glue. These toys can be mounted on a Christmas tree or hung from the ceiling.
Step 8
Make colored daisies. Cut the album sheet along the narrow side into 11 strips about 2 cm wide. Fold the strips and fasten them in the middle with a stapler or thread. Bend each strip and glue to the center - you get bright floral decorations.
Step 9
