A homemade teddy bear can be a great gift for a loved one. Try to make a teddy bear yourself, the easiest way is to crochet, as the product turns out to be denser, keeps its shape well.

It is necessary

  • - fine yarn of different colors;
  • - hook;
  • - wire;
  • - buttons or eyes for decoration.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose a yarn, preferably thin, in several colors. The thinner it is, the more elegant the teddy bear will turn out, and well-chosen colors will turn it into a real work of art.

Step 2

Start knitting your head. Cast on three to four air loops and close them in a circle. Work the first row of single crochets into two stitches from each stitch. In the next row, add in the same way, in each loop. Then look as appropriate - if you need a large bear, continue adding through one loop, and if a small one - through two loops.

Step 3

When the circle is large enough, stop increasing its diameter and simply knit several rows in a spiral. Then gradually reduce the stitches (skipping when knitting), with the same intensity as added. As a result, you will have a ball, stuff it with cotton wool or padding polyester and finish knitting.

Step 4

If you want the teddy bear to be able to twist its head, immediately make a frame out of the wire. Bend a small piece of wire in the shape of the number "8", and pass one of the rings inside the head. Then fill the head with cotton wool or padding polyester, close the hole.

Step 5

Tie the bear's body in the same way, make it longer and narrower. The lower part of the body can be made a little thicker - this will be the tummy. Slide the second ring of the wire figure eight into the torso, stuff it with filler, and close the hole.

Step 6

Tie the front and back legs. The end of the foot should be slightly thicker than the base. If you want to make feet with legs, knit to this point, then turn the knitting and knit a few loops in the opposite direction. Turn around again, tie to the end. Thus, a small web is formed. Tie this whole fabric together with the base of the paw in a circle. Continue to knit in a spiral pattern without adding loops. Then abruptly start the contraction, remove every other loop until the hole closes.

Step 7

When knitting paws, try to write down the number of loops, cuts, additions, so as not to make mistakes when knitting the second paw. After they are ready, stuff each foot with padding polyester or cotton wool and sew to the body.

Step 8

Tie small circles - these will be the ears. Sew circles of a smaller diameter in a different color inside. Tie a larger circle, round the edges - stuff with cotton wool and pull in the middle - this will be the muzzle. Glue or sew on the eyes. Decorate the crocheted teddy bear with a bow, put pants on it, give it a basket in your hands - at your discretion.
