A flower sculpture looks more original than a standard bouquet - it attracts more attention, and it can also become the best interior decoration for a wedding, anniversary or children's party. Many people do not like complex flower arrangements for their fragility, but knowing about the technique of working with flowers, you can make a sculpture that will retain its beauty and freshness for a long time.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare materials for making a flower toy - a special floristic sponge "Oasis", wire for floristry, flower scissors, glue, a stand for future sculpture and accessories.

Step 2

Imagine your future toy - determine how it should look. To begin with, you can use photographs or drawings of finished models, and as an example for a future toy, a real plush toy can serve, with which you will check the proportions and shapes of your sculpture.

Step 3

Cut out individual parts of the toy's body from the floral sponge. First, cut out the large parts - the body, legs and head, then connect them with floral wire and refine with smaller parts. Prepare a sponge blank for placing flowers on it - dip it in water and wait until the sponge is saturated with liquid. Then remove the workpiece and wait until the water stops flowing.

Step 4

Choose the flowers from which you will assemble the toy - you can vary the texture and shape of the sculpture, using flowers of different sizes and different shades. For small details - for example, for the face of an animal - use unopened chrysanthemum buds.

Step 5

Pick the color you want and start covering the sponge with flowers, cutting off the flower heads so that there is at least two centimeters of stem left to stick into the sponge.

Step 6

Fill the sponge with flowers, letting your imagination run wild. Modify the toy with small details - for example, attach plastic eyes over the flowers.

Step 7

In order for a toy made of fresh flowers to delight the eye of its owner longer, it must be watered daily, after placing it in an empty container where water will drain.

Step 8

Remove one flower from the top of the toy and start pouring water into it in a thin stream, until the sponge is completely saturated. Water small and protruding parts of the toy with a syringe filled with water. The toy you water every day will stay fresh for three weeks.
