Soon the couple had two children - Elijah and Juno. However, at the end of 2014, Carmen and Jeffrey filed for divorce due to constant scandals and family conflicts. Since childhood, Ejogo could not tolerate endless quarrels, believing that they not only spoil relations, but also have a detrimental effect on a person's creative potential.

Carmen now lives with her two children in America.
