Minecraft, with its variety of game tasks and virtually complete freedom of action, is a real paradise for gamers. Many have already appreciated the possibilities offered to them, and the army of fans of this game has long exceeded ten million in number. However, not every player finds only pleasure here - sometimes various system errors interfere with the normal operation of the program.

Inappropriate video drivers

For many, it happens that, anticipating the pleasure of the upcoming gameplay, they turn on the computer, but they cannot even launch the required application. The system reports (in English, of course) that inadequate drivers are installed on the video card. This means only one thing - either they are absent altogether, or are very outdated.

Eliminating Bad videocard drivers only seems like a big problem. In fact, almost anyone who knows how to use a computer can solve it (and gamers probably count themselves as such). First of all, you need to find out the parameters of your video card. (By the way, usually two types of such devices are used in Windows computers - from NVidia and from AMD.) Based on this, it is worth looking for drivers.

You also need to download and install - if this has not been done before - the OpenGL program. It is free and designed to handle 3D graphics (which Minecraft has). In addition to it, you will also need software for automatic driver updates. There are many such products in the public domain. Among them are DriverCure, Driver Checker, DriverScanner and others similar to them.

However, the problem is often not in the video card. If a gamer is sure that the drivers for it are updated regularly, he should check the performance of those applications that he installed for his favorite game. Some plugins and mods sometimes work incorrectly and even disable OpenGL functionality. Cheats have an equally negative effect on this program. It's better to delete them than to lose the ability to run Minecraft altogether.

Other possible errors

However, although the error with video drivers is one of the most common, it is not the only one that a gamer runs the risk of. Often, the problem is different - for example, the application does not start, as if due to the fact that it cannot find the file with the Minecraft launcher.

There are several ways to deal with this problem. One of them, the least radical, is changing the settings. To do this, right-click on the icon of the aforementioned application and, by clicking on "Properties" there, select the "Compatibility" tab in them. Among the options offered in the window that opens, you need to select only "Disable visual design". All other items must be unchecked.

After such manipulations, the application will start - but not the first time. If you want to fully optimize its work, it is better to reinstall Java and / or Minecraft launcher on your computer. This method is more reliable than the one mentioned above.

Errors also occur on multiplayer game resources, and many of them are fixed by changing some server settings. Often, for this it is enough to change a couple of parameters in server.properties from true to false, or vice versa, as the problem disappears.

Either way, the most drastic way is to reinstall Windows. Of course, this is very undesirable, because then you will have to spend a lot of time installing all the necessary programs on a new one, but sometimes only this method will allow you to solve all system errors in one fell swoop.
