Step 1
Gasoline-fueled lighters consist of a gasoline container containing a wick soaked in gasoline. The flame is produced by rubbing the gear against the flint. Gasoline lighters are durable and reliable. In expensive models, the volatility of gasoline is minimized, as evidenced by the absence of a smell of gasoline during use. However, let's move on to the issue of refueling.
Step 2
First of all, you need to use up all the gasoline that is already in the lighter. Next, remove the insert from the lighter body, lift the felt pad on the bottom of the insert. It is advisable to carry out all work with rubber gloves, especially if you refuel the lighter with gasoline for the first time. In this way, you can protect your hands from accidental spills of gasoline.
Step 3
Now slowly saturate the insert material with gasoline without overfilling. Insert the fuel chamber back into the lighter body.
Step 4
Make sure not a drop of gasoline has been spilled. Dry the lighter body and hands thoroughly before use. The fuel is explosive!
Step 5
After the first refueling, carry the lighter with the lid up and in an upright position. Refuel the lighter only with special gasoline for lighters. Remember that inhaling gasoline vapors can be hazardous to your health.
