Mafia, which at first glance is another clone of GTA, actually has a lot of differences from the latter, the first and most important of which is the highest level of cinematography and realism. To maintain and enhance this quality, players develop dozens of modifications every day that require installation.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the modification installer or re-pack version of the game. This will reduce the complexity of the installation to a minimum: you just need to download the file and click "Start installation". In addition, submitting a modification in this form is a certain guarantee of quality and performance.
Step 2
To install a new car, download the corresponding archive and unpack it into any convenient folder. Copy the contents of the Maps and Models folders to their corresponding originals from the game directory. Please note that you do not add new vehicles - you only replace old ones, so it may well turn out that after replacing a dozen cars, you will replace your own installed models “in the second round”.
Step 3
In order to change the characteristics of the installed car, you will need the MafiaDataExtractor and RHAM software. The first one must be placed in the game directory, run and in the menu that appears, select the item aa.dta - Tables, then click the "Extract" button. After that, launch RHAM, open the vechiles.bin file, which is located in the folder just unpacked, and export the.rcar file from the archive with the modification to it.
Step 4
In the second part of the series, a number of features are "hidden" that for some reason are not available in the game. For example - advanced car tuning. In order to install such a mod, you need to download the modification, replace the game files with the proposed ones (it is advisable to add the file to the exclusions of the protection system, since it can be detected as infected with a virus). Open the.txt file attached to the modification and write out the console commands to activate the features. Start the game, press F12 - a console will appear, in which you need to enter the "cheats". Some features do not need to be activated through the console - for example, the Free Ride mod becomes available directly from the main menu.
