Bicycle mudguards, like other parts, usually have instructions or schematic drawings that tell you how to attach them to your bike. Therefore, this process should not cause you much difficulty. Choosing the right wings is also an important issue. It is necessary that the arch of the wing correspond to the arch of the wheel - so that upon arrival it does not touch the wheel and at the same time protects against dirt splashing from under the wheels while driving.
Instructions
Step 1
The fenders are very comfortable - they protect against mud splashing from under the wheels while riding.
The rear wing is usually attached to a post under the saddle. In this case, fixing it, you need to correctly calculate the force - do not tighten too much, otherwise the mount may burst. If, on the contrary, it is not tight enough, the wing will wobble from side to side.
Step 2
The front fender can be fork-mounted, but this will not protect your feet from dirt and splashes.
Step 3
But modern fenders usually have reliable and simple fastenings - the front fender is attached to the place near the crown of the fork, and the rear fender is also attached to a strap under the saddle. This strap is praised by many cyclists - it can be attached to any seatpost, regardless of its thickness, and due to the rubberized strap, the wing does not slip.
Step 4
The rear fender can also have two parts - one that attaches directly to the bike and one that changes the arch of the fender or the angle at which the fender will be. This way we can tweak it more precisely.
