Counter-Strike is an online team computer game in the first-person shooter genre designed primarily for multiplayer mode. However, you can play it alone thanks to the installation of bots, that is, software modules of game artificial intelligence that replace a real enemy.

Instructions
Step 1
To install bots in Counter-Strike, download one of the free bot software - Zbot, POD-Bot or YaPB. Many Counter-Strike enthusiasts prefer Zbot as the easiest program to install.
Step 2
Unzip the downloaded archive using an archiving program (for example, IZArc, PowerArchiver or WinRAR). Copy the resulting folder to the folder with the installed game - by default, this is the "cstrike" folder on the C drive. Do not forget to confirm the replacement of some files when copying.
Step 3
Launch Counter-Strike and create a new game on the map of your choice. Wait for the game world to load, it may take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the power of your computer.
Step 4
Choose the team you will play for. Then open the Counter-Strike console (press the "~" button). Before starting adding bots, experienced players recommend setting the level of their skill, in other words, the level of difficulty of your game. The difficulty level of bots is set by the "bot_difficulity" command - you need to register it in the console and press Enter. If the player's goal is to fight with novice enemies, then you must enter the query "bot_difficulity 0", on the other hand, the most skillful bots are called by the command "bot_difficulity 3".
Step 5
By default, the number of players in a team of players in Counter-Strike is equalized, but when there is a desire to play alone against a crowd of bots, you need to remember two console commands: mp_limitteams 0mp_autoteambalance 0 The first team disables the limit on the number of players in teams, the second disables the autobalance of participants. If necessary, zeros can be replaced with any digit you require, for example, 20.
Step 6
Add bots to the game in any of two possible ways. The first way is to add through the console. To do this, you need to write the command "bot_add_ct" or "bot_add_t" in the console, that is, "add a special forces bot" and "add a terrorist bot". You will need to enter commands according to the number of bots required. The second way is by pressing the "H" button on the keyboard. In the menu that appears, select the "Add bot to CT" or "Add bot to T" button, which correspond to the console commands.
Step 7
To automatically add bots, there is the "bot_quota X" command. At the end of the command, instead of X, the number of bots required for both teams is indicated.
