It is necessary

  • - maggot;
  • - bloodworm;
  • - dung or earthworms;
  • - dough (its various variants);
  • - cereals (mainly semolina);
  • - grain (pearl barley and wheat);
  • - flakes;
  • - pancakes;
  • - legumes (corn, peas);
  • - mixtures of various compositions with the addition of flavorings, etc.

Instructions

Step 1

All baits are divided into animal and vegetable. It is better to consider several options for bait and bait in order to make the right choice and increase your catch. Animal baits include maggots, bloodworms, dung or earthworms. When fishing on maggots, it is better to put several pieces on the hook at the same time, in other words, in this case it is better to catch “on a bunch” of maggots. Other types of larvae are rarely used when fishing for crucian carp. There is another way of catching fish for maggots - combining it with a worm. Such a “sandwich” will attract crucian carp faster.

Step 2

Vegetable baits have a much broader list than animals. Crucian carp prefers a variety of options such as

dough (its various variants), cereals, grain (pearl barley and wheat), flakes, pancakes, legumes (corn, peas), mixtures of various compositions and others. The dough is an excellent bait for catching crucian carp, but its disadvantage is that it does not hold well on the hook, as it becomes limp in the water. The solution to this problem is quite simple - you just need to change the method of preparing the dough for fishing.

Step 3

Use pasta instead of dough. The recipe for making pasta bait is quite simple: boil the pasta (it is better to take long products) until half cooked and roll in flour. On the hook, you need to put on several small pieces of such a dough. It will not sag so quickly and will hold onto the hook perfectly. However, fishing with such a bait also has its drawback - the results may not be as good as when fishing with ordinary dough. Still, crucian carp is, to some extent, classified as a gourmet.

Step 4

When deciding to fish on pearl barley or wheat groats, it is also necessary to put several grains on the hook so that the hook is completely closed. If even a small part of the hook is open, the fish can get scared or prick and no longer swim not only to the hook, but also to this place (at least on the day of fishing).

Step 5

Don't forget to bait the fishing spot. Prepare a mixture of 3 equal parts: 1/3 - millet, 1/3 - crackers, and divide the third part in half - rolled oats and sunflower cake. To further enhance the complementary food, add some peas, chopped worms, and flavor to the mixture.
