2.5 meters satin ribbon of a suitable color, pointe shoes, thread, needle, pencil
Instructions
Step 1
Cut 2.5 meters of pink satin ribbon into 4 equal parts. Burn the edges of the ribbons over the fire of candles or lighters so that they do not bloom.
Step 2
Now you need to find the place where the ribbons are sewn. Take ballet shoes, the heel is soft and flexes easily. Bend the heel inward towards the toe.
Step 3
Use a pencil to mark the fold on the sides. It is in this direction and at this angle that the tape will be sewn.
Step 4
Make sure the tape is facing out with the shiny side out. Fold over the edge of the tape 1 cm and sew with small stitches on the inside of the ballerina. Sew on gently, grabbing the inner layer of the fabric and the canvas pad. Try not to leave visible stitches on the toes of the shoes. Choose threads that are thin, but strong, matching the color. Sometimes they even sew with dental floss for these purposes!
Step 5
Sew on all four ribbons as described. If the pointe shoes are new, you can mark "left" and "right" so as not to get confused at first.
