Winter is perhaps the most magical, beautiful and at the same time cold period. At the junction of two winter months, the old year meets the new, Christmas, baptism, sometimes even Shrovetide falls at this time of the year. Needless to say, many artists like to depict her on their canvases. However, even without being a professional, you can create a beautiful winter landscape yourself.

It is necessary

a white sheet of paper, a pencil, paints, some tinsel and cotton wool, glue and scissors

Instructions

Step 1

The first thing to do is to sketch the future landscape with a simple pencil on a sheet. The drawing should be created with light translucent lines. Draw drifts and trees in the snow. A village house will look very romantic and at the same time cozy. He must have a pipe, shutters, porch.

Step 2

Once you're done with the sketch, proceed with the color scheme. Use cardboard or a blank sheet of paper as a palette. Mix the colors so that there are different shades from bluish white to bluish blue. This is needed in order to give the image a natural look. To decorate the house, you can also use mixing paints, only other colors.

Step 3

Once the picture is painted, let it dry well. In the meantime, get busy preparing the material for the decor. Take the silver rain prepared in advance and cut it into small pieces. Pull the cotton wool into small thin pieces.

Step 4

On an already dried canvas, apply a thin layer of glue in various places. Now sprinkle on top with the prepared silver chips that you chopped from the rain. This material can be used not only as an image of sparks in the snow, but also to decorate the night sky (if your painting assumes a given time of day). Stick the pieces of cotton wool on the images of trees and snowdrifts (the main thing is not to overdo it).
