Brown may seem boring only at first glance. In fact, artists love to use this paint, because brown is the color of earth, chocolate, coffee, autumn foliage, tree bark, and so on. The variety of shades of brown is achieved in different ways.
It is necessary
- - multi-colored paints
- - palette
- - brush
- - glass of water
- - paper
- - artistic whitewash
Instructions
Step 1
Various shades of brown can be obtained by darkening the yellow, red or orange paint with a little black. Start literally with one drop, stir the paint mixture thoroughly on the palette before adding another dose of black paint to avoid absorbing the main color.
Step 2
If the brown is very dark, you can try to lighten it with a little artistic whitewash.
Step 3
A very interesting brown shade is obtained by mixing red and green paints, the greater the proportion of "green" in the mixture, the more swampy color you will get.
Step 4
Also brown can be obtained by mixing three primary colors - red, blue and yellow. Adding black or white paint will help create dark and light tones.
Step 5
Varying the proportions will certainly affect the final result, as the dominant yellow will give an ocher tint. And the predominance of blue will give out a very dark brown, almost black color.
Step 6
Leadership of red will create warm brown options with a rust tint.
Step 7
If you mix red, yellow and blue in a 1: 1: 1 ratio, you get a calm gray-brown color.
