Step 1
First you need to choose a presenter who will voice everything that happens, then using cards or cut pieces of paper you need to share it with citizens and the mafia. Crosses can be drawn on pieces of paper (this will be the mafia), and the cards can be divided by suits. Whoever draws the worms or tambourines will be a civilian, black suits will mean the mafia. Depending on the size of your group, the mafiosi can be either two people or five, but no more than a quarter of all the townspeople. The doctor, commissioner and other characters are marked separately if there is a desire to introduce them into the game. After receiving your piece of paper, remember the role and do not show it to others.

At the beginning of the game, the presenter makes an introductory speech, in which he indicates the place of action (for example, the city of New York), the event that occurred (for example, the mayor was killed), and then offers to speculate who might be the mafia. After some time, the presenter sums up the day and lists all those who fell under suspicion.
