Therefore, knitting a blouse for a newborn child is not only a tribute to fashion, but also a manifestation of care for him.
It is necessary
- - yarn
- - knitting needles
Instructions
Step 1
To knit a blouse for a newborn, you will need one hundred grams (one skein) of soft yarn. You can choose acrylic yarn in discreet pastel shades.
Step 2
Cast on 40 loops on the knitting needles to knit the back of the blouse and knit 2 centimeters with an elastic band. At the end add 5-7 stitches evenly.
Step 3
Knit the back with a basic pattern to the level of the armhole. When choosing the main pattern, you should focus on embossed monochromatic patterns, since when knitting ornaments, crossed threads will remain on the inside of the canvas, which can cause inconvenience to both you and the child when putting on a blouse.
Step 4
To decorate the armhole, distribute the loops evenly on both sides of the back fabric. Next, knit with the main pattern to the level of the neck.
Step 5
Distribute the loops evenly, closing the 15 medium loops, forming the neck of the back.
Step 6
To knit the shelves of the blouse, dial 20 loops on the knitting needles and knit 2 centimeters with an elastic band, at the end of knitting add 3-5 loops evenly.
Step 7
Next, knit with the main pattern to the level of the armhole, leaving several loops on the sides of the intended fastener for knitting a bar, which is performed by knitting an elastic band. Every 4-5 centimeters on one of the strips of the shelves, knit an air loop or yarn over to form a buttonhole.
Step 8
At the level of the armhole, close the loops, in accordance with the size of the armhole on the back fabric at the level of the neckline.
Step 9
To knit sleeves, cast on the needles 20 loops for each sleeve and knit with an elastic band 2 centimeters. At the end of knitting, add 10 stitches evenly for each sleeve. Next, knit with the main pattern. At a height of about 10 centimeters, form an armhole, closing the outer loops.
Step 10
Wet all the details of the blouse, pin on the pattern and let them dry. Sew all the details together. On the edge of the neckline, cast on 30 loops and knit with an elastic band 3 centimeters, evenly forming the edge of the collar.
Step 11
Sew the buttons onto the front placket.
