Slime is a kind of toy popular both in the West and in Russia, which children fell in love with for its jelly-like consistency and the ability to take various forms without much effort. At home, slime can be made on the basis of sodium tetraborate, glue and starch, as well as shampoo and soda. The cooking technology is about the same. - - borax in the form of powder or solution (0.5-1 tsp);
- - stationery glue of transparent consistency (25 g);
- –Warm water (0, 5-0, 7 glasses);
- - red and yellow food coloring (3-5 drops).

Step 1
Sodium tetraborate (4-5%) is best purchased from specialized chemical stores or pharmacies. Prepare everything you need in advance and start making slime. Pour water into a deep plastic bowl and then add sodium tetraborate. If you use a powder, then you must thoroughly stir the resulting composition until all the crystals are completely dissolved.
Step 2
Add the remaining water, dyes, and glue to another container. Stir vigorously with a wooden stick.
Step 3
Take a bowl of sodium tetraborate solution and slowly pour into another cup. Under the influence of the chemical, the composition will begin to acquire a jelly-like consistency and will stretch. So you get a slime, which can be painted in any colors with the help of dyes.
