Minchin remembered about the piano again when, together with his brother, he began to create musical compositions. Again Tim amazed with zeal. He speaks of himself as a hard worker.

In Melbourne, Tim was looking for an agent for a year, the role of an unknown performer was not offered. Music studios rated Tim's music positively. However, they immediately made a reservation that they were not at all sure that the synthesis of satire and serious pop songs would be in demand.
Then Tim decided to combine all the accumulated material into a single show. This would help the artist to shake off what had accumulated before moving on to serious music. Comedy Tim has never been to comedy performances before.

He enters the stage barefoot, with protruding hair. The look is complemented by a starched shirt, a tailcoat and a giant piano. The actor explains the lack of shoes by comfort. Emphasizing his eyes is also important for him: the audience sees his facial expressions better.
The image itself is conceived as a mockery of the claims to become a "style icon". This option allows Tim to make a provocative statement from the stage without annoying anyone.
The show is composed of satirical songs and poems. The compositions are united by monologues, improvisations with the audience.
