Decl is a Russian rapper, also known under the pseudonym Le Truk. The peak of his popularity came in the early 2000s, when the singer became the embodiment of hip-hip among the youth. In family life, he was coupled by the model Julia Kiseleva.
Biography
Future rapper Kirill Tolmatsky was born in 1983 in Moscow and was brought up in the family of a successful producer Alexander Tolmatsky. The young man studied at the prestigious British International School, and later received his education in Switzerland. Abroad, Kirill got acquainted with rap music, which was listened to mainly by black students. At first, he did not like this genre at all, but after returning to Moscow, Tolmatsky still felt its lack.
Kirill began to learn to perform hip-hop recitatives and dance break-dance, and also grew dreadlocks. With the support of his father in 1999, he recorded the track "Friday", which immediately resonated with the youth audience. After that, the artist took the pseudonym Decl and started recording the first album, which was released in 2000 and called "Who are you?" Almost all the tracks from the disc quickly became cult, and Tolmatsky turned into a real star and idol of youth. Clips for compositions from the album could be seen on all music channels, and the performer himself became a welcome guest on various TV shows.
Decl was not going to stop and soon repeated his success by releasing a new album "Street Fighter". And again, the work brought him multimillion-dollar sales, rotation of videos on music channels and nationwide love. The singer began acting in commercials, recorded several works with famous hip-hop artists Sheff and Legalize. But growing up and growing popularity led to disagreements in the family: Cyril had a falling out with his father and refused to cooperate with him. He changed his pseudonym and released a solo album, Detsl a.k.a. Le Truk ".
The next disc of the slightly changed artist was greeted by the public quite warmly, but the rapper's popularity began to fall rapidly. Decl performed less and less on stage and gradually became recognizable only by a narrow circle of fans. He released several more albums, but this did not correct the situation of the artist. Tolmatsky finally left the big stage, giving way to younger and more popular performers, but occasionally gave performances at various concerts. Also, the hip-hop artist shared his novelties on social networks, on the YouTube media hosting.
Personal life
At the height of popularity, Decl had enough not only fans, but also fans, but the rapper gave his hand and heart to only one girl. She was the model Yulia Kiseleva. The singer's chosen one rarely gave interviews, so little information is known about her. The girl was born in 1986 in Nizhny Novgorod, but after her studies she moved to Moscow, where she became a rather successful model.
Kiseleva met Decl in one of the Moscow cafes, after which an affair began between them. It was Julia who initiated the relationship. In 2005, the lovers got married. Soon the son Anthony was born. Even after marriage, Kiseleva, who took the surname Tolmatskaya, did not leave the modeling business, continuing to work in it today. Julia is also fond of painting.
The further fate of the artist
As a mature man, Decl continued to write and read texts to the public, but their subject matter was already completely different than at the beginning of his career. The rapper touched upon the slippery topics of drugs, state, religion and others. At the same time, in life, the artist was no longer a violent teenager, whom his longtime fans were used to seeing. He always tried to remain calm, to avoid conflicts (an exception was the trial with rapper Basta, who repeatedly insulted Tolmatsky on social networks). Cyril made peace with his father and spent a lot of time with his loved ones.
Unexpected and shocking for fans and not only was the news of the singer's sudden death, as reported by his father Alexander Tolmatsky on February 3, 2019. The former youth idol died in the dressing room immediately after a night concert in Izhevsk. Medical examination showed that the cause of death was acute heart failure. This gave rise to a wave of rumors that Decl may have taken narcotic drugs, which caused harm to the body. The information was not confirmed. Three days after the death of the artist, he was buried at the Pyatnitskoye cemetery in Moscow.
