Step 1

This is especially important when knitting a sweater with knitting needles, since this type of knitting is more elastic than crocheting, and you can make a mistake with the size of the sweater. The sample should be at least 10 cm in size. Steam it after knitting and count the number of loops in 10 cm. If necessary, using this sample you will adjust the number of loops in the part of the blouse.

Decide on what description you will knit a sweater. You can choose a jacket from a craft magazine. There, most often the most detailed descriptions are given, the sequence of knitting steps. Try to clearly follow all the step-by-step instructions and then you will succeed. Usually, the front part is first knitted, then the back, after which the sleeves are separately tied, and then the product is sewn.

If you do not have magazines, then you can choose a model of a jacket on the Internet by registering at a specialized handicraft forum. The advantage of this method is that on the forum you can chat with like-minded people in knitting, ask questions that interest you, and not only on this model, but also on needlework in general. Having chosen a model, check the number of loops in your design sample - and start knitting.
