Creating a hero in a role-playing game requires a lot of time, effort and energy from the user, so the desire to save it and transfer it later to another computer is quite reasonable and justified. The technique for importing a character differs from game to game, but there are a few general principles.
Instructions
Step 1
Import using internal game tools. Games that provide such an opportunity can be counted on one hand, the most famous being "Mass Effect" and "The Suffering". If you have the first part of the games in this series installed, then do not rush to delete it: after installing the sequel and starting a new game, the application will ask you: "Do you want to continue playing the character from the first part?" With an affirmative answer at the beginning of a new game, you will have a more developed character with the features that you gave him earlier (temperament, class, direction of development).
Step 2
Check your savedgames. In many games (especially the linear type), the character file is technically nothing more than a saved game. If so, then all you need is to transfer this same "save" to the desired folder on another computer. For example, such a system is used in "Borderlands", the saves in it are located on the hard drive "C: / Users / Username / Documents / My Games / Borderlands / SaveData". It is worth noting that in modern games, almost all savegames are located in the My Documents folder, while older products used to save everything to the game folder.
Step 3
Create an identical character. If you are unable to import a hero (for example, in case of loss), you can save a lot of time by creating a character using cheating. There are many programs (in particular for "Diablo") that allow you to compose a character with the characteristics you need and bring him into the game. The unconditional disadvantage of this approach will be the lack of items corresponding to the level, but this is quickly compensated for after half an hour of the game.
Step 4
Save the game on the server. Technically, the servers of MMO games are completely closed, and it is impossible to import a character there without the permission of the administration. However, no one bothers you to perform the reverse operation: while you are playing online, the character is saved not only on your computer, but also on the Internet. Therefore, logging into your account from another machine, you can create a "local copy of the character", thereby importing it to yourself.
