A soft toy for children, which you make yourself, guarantees you environmental friendliness, durability of the toy and the joy that the baby will definitely experience at the sight of a new horse. In addition, she does not have to buy fabric in the store - take the same baby's old pajamas or your beautiful velvet dress, which, alas, is out of fashion. Please your child, and we will show you how to sew a horse with your own hands.

It is necessary

  • * Paper;
  • * Copy paper or printer;
  • * Marker;
  • * The cloth;
  • * Scissors;
  • * Pins;
  • * Sewing machine;
  • * Threads, a needle;
  • * Filler;
  • * Multi-colored buttons;
  • * Thick thread.

Instructions

Step 1

First, make the patterns according to which you will cut out the horse. To do this, you need a profile picture of the horse. You need to make 3 life-size copies of the future toy. The simpler the lines are, the easier it will be to sew the horse. Make 1-2 cm allowances on each copy and cut out everything that turns out. Now on one of the copies, circle the front leg with a seam allowance. Cut it out. On the second copy, circle the body with the head, adding seam allowances, cut out. It remains to cut the hind leg from the third copy.

Step 2

The next step is to cut out the details. Fold the fabric in half, wrong side up. Attach the pieces of the pattern to it with pins. You should get 2 body parts, 4 front legs and 4 hind legs.

Step 3

Stitching parts. Sew on a typewriter, or stitch together the horse's body parts by hand, leaving a couple of centimeters open on the belly so that the part can be turned and stuffed. Do the same with the legs. Leave unstitched at 3 cm for the same purpose.
