Instructions

Step 1

Make a hedgehog suit based on a jumpsuit: Sew or take a ready-made jumpsuit in corduroy or spandex with a hood and a long zip. Sew four pieces of Velcro to the front of the jumpsuit, two to the right and left of the zipper. Sew the ears: the inner ear from satin, the outer one from the main fabric, stuff with padding polyester or cotton wool, sew the ears to the hood.

Step 2

Cut out an oval "belly" from the fleece, attach the fleece with Velcro on the front of the jumpsuit, over the zipper. Cut out elongated triangles of equal size from the remains of black, gray, or brown fabric. Sew "thorns" on the hood and back at random, so that the sharp ends stick out in different directions.

Step 3

Cut out silhouettes of leaves, apples and mushrooms from pieces of red, yellow, green felt, sew or attach them to the “thorns” using pieces of Velcro tape.

Step 4

Make a hedgehog suit based on your casual shirt, pants, and vest. Match pants and vest in the same color. Only a hat will require manufacturing.

Step 5

Take a cap or panama hat, separate the visor from the cap, and the fields from the panama hat. Cut a ribbon out of woolen fabric, process the edge of the cap with a ribbon.

Step 6

Make “needles” from a piece of black fabric: cut triangles, sew on both sides, stuff with cotton wool or pieces of padding polyester, sew “thorns” to the cap. Start sewing from the bottom edge and move in a circle, to the crown of the head sew several "thorns" close to each other, upright.

Step 7

Sew a cone out of a light-colored fabric, stuff with padding polyester or cotton wool, sew a nose bead on the top of the cone, 2 beads at the base of the cone (eyes), draw or sew a black woolen thread for the mouth, sew the cone to the edge of the cap instead of the visor. Cut out a couple of mushrooms, some leaves, an apple from felt and sew them to the thorns. Sew a piece of faux fur on the back of the vest, the same color as the "thorns" on the cap.
