Step 1

Cut out rectangles from fabric about 5 by 12 cm and 7 by 12 cm, 12 pieces each. You can choose the size and quantity yourself, depending on the size of the fabric scraps and the desired size of the finished belt.

Step 2

We sew rectangles together to make two strips of the same length. Rectangles 5 cm wide in one strip, and 7 cm wide in the other. Ironing out. We glue the interlining to the seamy side of the narrow strip.

We put a wide strip face down, and on top - a narrow strip face up. We cut it off with pins. Cut out the ends of the stripes at an angle of 45 degrees so that the tip of the lower one protrudes 1 cm from under the upper one. Cut off the sharp corner of the bottom strip.
