A weekend in the village with my grandmother, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, is a real gift for a tired human body. The main thing is to tune in to a positive mood and make a rough plan of how to turn such a weekend into a little adventure.

It is somehow sad to go to my grandmother alone, especially when I do not know anyone except my grandmother in the village. Try to take a few of your friends with you. First, check with the mistress of the house if it is convenient and what the conditions will be. In case of grandmother's consent, discuss with your friends all the rules of conduct in someone else's house.
Going on a visit empty-handed is also somehow not ethical. Do something nice for a loved one and cook something with your own hands or buy gifts.
Filming
Transform a village weekend into a 2-day fun or documentary filming. Capture stunning village landscapes, funny scenes from the life of pets, and take a comic interview with local residents.
Or maybe you want to devote the film to a story about your grandmother: where was she born, whether she went through the war, etc. This is an excellent reason to strengthen family ties and learn a lot of interesting things about the events of the past from the lips of a person who saw everything with his own eyes.
Each village has its own story. Perhaps someone once buried a treasure under a grown pine tree at the edge. Or in this area, a prisoner of war camp was once built and destroyed. Or maybe a UFO was seen here. Feel like the host of a travel program and film the process of finding a treasure or an unusual place. Ask friends and acquaintances to help you with this.
The village as a playground for contests and parties
The village also has its own women of fashion. Organize a rustic fashion show at your local club or outdoors, depending on the weather.
Use your talents and the talents of your friends - arrange a pop song, music or dance concert. You can do a talent show with your grandmother as the main jury. Do not be afraid to invite the neighbors guys and girls, let them help in the organization and bring everything that may be useful for the show: clothes, props, etc.
Take part in some kind of celebration. For example, ask for a country wedding. Or organize a holiday yourself: with songs, dances, night fortune telling and jumping over a small fire.
Breathe in the spirit of gypsy freedom: gather a company, dress appropriately, ask someone for a horse for rent (there must be at least one horse in the village) and go to the field to meet the dawn. And if there is still some craftsman with a guitar and a velvet baritone, a gypsy-style party can be considered a full-fledged one.
In winter, you can arrange sleigh rides, snow battles of large companies and the capture of a snow fort. Don't forget about photo shoots: nature is the most beautiful background for any photo.
