A voluminous snowflake can be made from anything, there is always available material at hand. It can be paper, white or colored, flour and even salt.

- To make a voluminous paper snowflake:

- - 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil;
- - gouache or acrylic paints;

Step 1
3-D snowflake from a sheet of paper
Fold a piece of paper in an accordion manner. Try to keep all the folds even, of the same width. Holding the edges of the accordion with your left hand, cut out different shapes on both sides: triangles, semicircles, squares, and so on. By arranging them in different order, you will get a unique pattern and make a beautiful and original snowflake.
Step 2
Secure one end of the accordion with a stapler and unfold it like a fan. Connect the edges of the workpiece and glue them with PVA glue or secure with a stapler. Attach the ribbon. To make the snowflake sparkle and shimmer, spray it with glitter hairspray.
Step 3
Crystal snowflake
Conduct an experiment, grow a crystal in the form of a snowflake. Take 3 toothpicks, fold them in the form of rays, tie the middle with a thread. Wrap all the resulting rays tightly with woolen thread for knitting. When you are finished winding the last toothpick, pull off the yarn, leaving a long tail.
Step 4
Make a concentrated saline solution. To do this, pour boiling water into a container and add salt. When it stops dissolving, the solution is ready.
Step 5
Dip the structure of toothpicks wrapped in yarn into it, holding the tail, and leave it in the solution for several hours. The salt will immediately begin to settle on the non-future snowflake. The process is very interesting to watch, so this experience will appeal to both adults and children. After a few hours, the snowflake will be ready, you can take it out and decorate the Christmas tree or room with it. However, the longer the workpiece is in the saline solution, the larger the crystal will be, and the snowflake will become shapeless.
Step 6
Bulk dough snowflake
Make a salty dough. Mix flour and salt, then pour water and vegetable oil into this mixture. Knead the dough. The finished mass should be elastic and not sticky to your hands. If the dough is not elastic enough, add liquid, and if, on the contrary, it sticks to your hands and stretches too much, add more flour.
Step 7
Sculpt a variety of snowflakes from the mass. Use a cocktail straw to make a hole so you can pull a ribbon through it later.
Step 8
Place the figurines on a baking sheet and bake in the oven. After they cool down, paint with white paint and sprinkle with glitter. They can also be decorated with beads, beads, bugles, sequins, pieces of tinsel.
