The bunny figurine can be woven using the parallel weaving technique or made three-dimensional. This is one of the simplest crafts, so beginners often begin training with weaving a bunny. It can be attached to a ring and used as a keychain or placed on a shelf.

Hare in parallel weaving technique

Prepare the necessary materials for the job. You will need:

- beads of white, pink color;

- 2 black beads;

- 1 red bead;

- wire cutters.

Cut a 0.5m piece of beading wire. Start at the head. To weave an eyelet, string 8 beads on the wire, position them in the middle of the segment. Thread one end through the first bead and tighten.

String 10 white beads on one end of the wire and pass the same end through the third bead from the beginning of the set. Pull the wire and form a loop for the second ear.

String 4 beads onto the left end and pull the right side through them. Tighten the row. In the next, make the eyes of the bunny, string 1 white, 1 black, again 1 white, 1 black and 1 white beads and stretch the second end of the wire through them.

In the next row, weave the cheeks and nose. To do this, string 1 white, 1 pink, 1 red, 1 pink and 1 white beads on the left end of the wire, pull the other end through them and pull the wire. In the last row to form the head, type 3 beads of white color and proceed to weaving the body and paws of the hare.

String 4 white beads on the wire, in the next row weave the front legs of the hare in the same way as ears. Cast on 4 beads from one side of the body and thread the same end of the wire through the first. Tighten the tab. On the other side of the body, make the second leg in the same way.

Next, continue to weave the torso using the parallel weaving technique. String 2 white, 1 pink and 2 white beads onto the wire. Pull the other end of the wire through the entire row and pull it in. Then type 2 beads white, 2 pink and 2 white. In the next row, decrease the number of beads. Cast on 2 white, 1 pink and 2 white beads again. Then string 4 white beads and start weaving the hare's lower legs. Make them in the same way as the front ones, then cast on 3 white beads, pull the second end of the wire through them and finish weaving the bunny in a parallel technique.

Bulky hare

To make this craft, you will also need white, pink and black beads, beading wire and wire cutters. And to give the hare shape and stability, you also need a thin line.

Cut a piece of wire 80 cm long. Using the volumetric weaving technique, make 2 tiers. The upper one will form the back, and the lower one will form the bunny's belly. String 1 pink and 2 white beads onto a wire. Place them in the middle of the wire. Pass the second end through 2 white beads and tighten.

In the second row for the upper tier (the back of the hare), dial 5 white beads and pass the second end of the wire through them. And for the lower tier, string 3 beads, also white, and stretch the second side of the wire through them.

Weave all other rows in the same way. In the third row for the top tier, string 2 white, 1 black, 3 white, 1 black and 2 white beads. For the bottom 4 beads of white shade. Then weave only with white beads.

In the fourth row, cast on 10 and 3 beads. In the fifth, weave the top tier of 9 elements, and do not tighten the wire tightly. Cut off 2 extra pieces of wire and thread them through the third and fourth beads on each side. On these pieces, you will subsequently weave bunny ears. Tighten the main piece of wire and continue weaving the lower tier, for which, dial 2 beads.

Next, move on to weaving the torso. In the sixth row, cast on 6 beads in each tier. In the seventh - 5 and 8, respectively. In the eighth, for the upper tier, string 5 beads, and for the lower one, dial 10 pieces, but do not tighten the wire. Cut 2 more pieces of wire, each 20 cm long, and thread them through the third and fourth beads on each side. Tighten the wire.

In the ninth and tenth rows, cast 6 and 12 beads in each. In the eleventh tier for the upper tier, dial 5 pieces, and for the lower tier - 11 beads, but do not tighten the wire and pull one piece of wire through the third and fourth beads on each side for further weaving of the hind legs.

In the next 12th row, cast on 3 and 8 beads, in the 13th - 2 and 4, in the next row weave only the upper tier of two beads and make a tail from one bead. Finish the weaving of the hare's torso. Cut the wire, twist and hide the tail inside the figure.

Using the parallel weaving technique, weave the paws and ears of the hare. To give the bunny stability and shape, sew a thin line through its head and body.
