Drawing as a process is a very enjoyable activity in itself, and it also develops visual memory, imagination and fine motor skills of the fingers. You may not be a great artist, but absolutely any person can learn to draw quite tolerably. To begin with, you can try to portray a person standing in full growth. By adhering to certain proportions, you will be able to do this.
It is necessary
A sheet of paper, pencil, eraser
Instructions
Step 1
Imagine a human figure in your mind as simple abstract forms. For example, the head is an oval, the torso and pelvis are softened cubes, and the limbs are cylinders. If you want to depict a figure in any particular position, then try to take the same pose yourself, this will help you look at your body from the inside and more accurately transfer your visual image to paper.
Step 2
Even in ancient times, artists, drawing a person, established that there are certain rules for the relationship between parts of the human body with the whole figure as a whole. These rules make drawing easier, just remember that everyone has their own characteristics. Remember that the unit of measurement is always head size.
Step 3
The distance from the crown of the head to the bottom of the chin is 1/8 of the height of a standing person. Draw an oval for the head and draw this distance from the chin down 7 times. Together with the head, the length of the body coincides with the length of the legs. The arms, extended at the seams, reach about the middle of the thigh. Draw the waist in the "three heads" from the crown of the head.
Step 4
In the length of an adult's arm, the head fits three times, and in the shoulders twice. The width of the pelvis of an adult male is 1.5 heads. Of course, all these proportions are indicative, since in each case they are slightly different. The width of a man's shoulders is equal to two measurements of the height of the head. Also note that the width of the hand is the same as the length of the middle finger. Mark the waist circumference equal to two neck circumferences.
Step 5
Draw the brush along with the wrist, equal to the height of the head. Display the length of the foot equal to the length of the forearm. The height of the entire human figure is equal to the length of the arms outstretched to the sides. Try to carefully observe all the angles and proportions of the body. In the picture, measure them using a pencil outline or use the width of an eraser as a basis. Having drawn the basic proportions of the body, move on to more detailed drawing of each part separately.
