Do you have any desire and motivation to play guitar? Unfortunately, many, many musicians have gone through this stage. However, there are several effective ways to get rid of this.
Get a different type of tool
It is very rough to divide all guitars into classical, acoustic and electric guitars. Do you play acoustic guitar? Great, buy a classical or electric guitar. Do you play a classic? Try hard rock, even if you have never held a pick in your hands.
Change strings
You may not have changed the strings in a year and their sound has become completely dull. Get a new set of fresh strings, because even the process of changing is a pleasure.
Don't look at the fretboard
Try turning your head the other way. What for? When we look at the neck, almost all of the sound from the resonator is picked up by the right ear, while the left is only picking up a fraction. Turning your head to the other side, you can feel a completely new, previously unfamiliar timbre. The effect is enhanced if you close your eyes or play in a dark room.
Play at night
To some, this advice may seem trivial, but to others it may be of invaluable benefit. The fact is that at night not a single extra rustle can distract you. Moreover, there is a little romance in this.
Change the pitch
You can try lowering - raising the tuning by half a tone or tone. And it is not necessary to tune the sixth string to "E" or "Re sharp". After all, you can take something in between, and adjust the rest of the strings to it at the 5th fret.
Forget the guitar
If none of the above helps, leave the guitar alone for the next two weeks. Don't even think about touching it for a second. From great experience we can say that even after such a short break, even the oldest strings will begin to sound in a new way.
