Noreen DeWolfe is the professional pseudonym for Nurin Ahmed, an American actress who starred as Lacey in the television sitcom Anger Management. She is also known for her roles in The West Bank Story (2005), The Ghosts of Former Girlfriends (2009) and The Contingency Plan (2010). In 2015, she began acting in the acting series Hockey Wives, chronicling her life with her husband Ryan Miller, an NHL goalkeeper.

Biography and education

Nurin Ahmed was born on February 28, 1984 in New York to Gujarati Indian parents from Pune, India. Nurin grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She has two sisters. Aziza's older sister is a law professor at Northeastern University in Boston. Younger sister Sarah is a lawyer in San Francisco.

Educated at the Boston University School of Arts, where she studied international relations and theater. After completing her education, she moved to Los Angeles to become a professional actress. Fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati.

Career

Noreen DeWolfe began her acting career in the short film A History of the West Bank, in which she starred as Fatima, a singing and dancing cashier in Palestine who falls in love with an Israeli soldier. The film won an Academy Award.

Since her acting debut, Noreen has often played roles in comedy television series and films. Between 2009 and 2011, he played recurring roles on NBC in the Outsourcing television series, on TNT in the Hawthorne series, and on MTV in the Berger Dignity television series. In June 2000, Noreen Ahmed married the avant-garde artist James DeWolfe, whose last name she took, and then began to use as her professional pseudonym. The couple divorced in January 2010 after 10 years of marriage.

In September 2011, Noreen DeWolfe married National Hockey League goalkeeper Ryan Miller. The wedding took place in Los Angeles. In 2015, the couple had a child - the son of Bodhi Ryan.
