A standard, inexpensive camera always has an autofocus function, but it is recommended to shoot in manual focus mode. If you are shooting with autofocus, aim the lens at the center point of the frame to get the shot in focus. When focusing manually, focus on the subject that matters most in your frame. Compose your shot, lock the focal point, and press the shutter button.
Step 3
Most cameras also have automatic shooting modes - portrait, landscape, night photo, animals, and so on. You can use these automatic modes in different situations. It's also convenient to use the semi-automatic Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority modes - different camera modes suit different shooting conditions.

Try not to shoot in full automatic mode - otherwise you risk getting bad shots due to the fact that the camera inadequately perceived the shooting conditions.

When photographing, look for your own eyes and your own angles, do not try to imitate other photographers.
