In many countries, the swallow is considered a harbinger of spring and a symbol of happiness. This small and nimble bird writes such turns in the hunt for insects that the eyes do not have time to follow it and the head begins to spin. In order to draw a swallow, you will need to take into account several features, but everything should work out even for a novice artist.

It is necessary

  • - album sheet;
  • - a simple pencil;
  • - eraser;
  • - paints or colored pencils.

Instructions

Step 1

First, outline the outline of the swallow, for this draw an oblong and pointed body on both sides. The shape of the body will resemble an oval, but keep in mind that the belly of the bird is rounded, and the back, on the contrary, is more straight.

Draw an arc that will split the swallow's body into two unequal parts: 1/3 for the head and 2/3 for the wings and tail. Connect the two ends of the arc to simulate a boomerang or crescent shape.

Inside the sketch, draw a small eye and a sharp beak. Smoothly sketch out the neck and show a sharp transition from it to the wings. Then finish each wing, for this on the lower part of the arc, draw in rounded teeth, imitating feathers. Don't forget to mark the borders of the tail.
