Hand-made wooden furniture can last a long time. It doesn't matter what you make it for - whether you use it at home or in the country. The main thing in its manufacture is accuracy, accuracy of measurements and exact adherence to instructions.

Instructions
Step 1
Start by making the back legs. Draw a projection of the legs and back of the chair on paper. To get it symmetrically, you can draw only half, and then apply tracing paper and use it to transfer the drawing to the second part. Cut out the paper template. Take the saw and, with the template attached, cut out the legs and backrest.
Step 2
Sand the details. It is more convenient to clean the ends with a rasp, and then with sanding paper, first coarse, then fine. Make sure that all sides are perpendicular to each other.
Step 3
Drill the holes for the dowels with a drill. Measure very precisely the places to create the holes. To do this, having drilled it in one part, stick the dowel in there, attach the second part and press it down. A round mark will remain from the dowel. Drill in this place. Assemble the back and legs with dowels, but do not glue yet.
Step 4
At this stage, you should start cutting out the pattern on the back, if you plan to do it. First, drill the holes with a drill, and insert the saw into them. You need to cut in such a direction that the wood fibers do not rise.
Step 5
After cutting the pattern, process the cuts with a graver and sandpaper.
Step 6
Now you need to make a template for the seat and front legs. The algorithm of actions is the same: create a template, cut out the parts, process them, make holes for the dowels.
Step 7
Assemble the chair without glue. Check if all parts fit well, if right angles are observed.
Step 8
If everything is in order, glue the chair. Lubricate all joints, including pour glue into the holes for the dowels.
Step 9
After the chair is completely dry, cover it first with a stain, let it dry, and then cover it with furniture varnish.
Step 10
Now you need to make a soft seat. Take a sheet of plywood and cut a piece out of it that fits the shape of the seat frame. Cut out the foam rubber using the same template.
Step 11
To make a cover, attach the seat template to the fabric, step back 5 cm from the edges and cut out.
Step 12
Now assemble the seat. Place the foam on the plywood and the fabric on the foam. Flip this layer cake over, fold the fabric over the plywood and shoot with a furniture stapler. If not, then take furniture nails and pin the fabric with them. This completes the creation of the chair.
