For those who like to make gifts with their own hands, you can make a composition of fresh flowers in a basket, any decorative box or a beautiful container / vessel, vase, pot /. It is not at all necessary to know all the subtleties of floristry. To create an eye-pleasing composition, basic knowledge and rules of floristry will be enough. Also, imagination, fantasy and, of course, love will help. The desire to create is a good desire, and it must be fulfilled!

Step 1
It all starts with an idea. We represent figuratively how the composition will look. We decide on colors, containers and additional accessories. We replenish knowledge about flower arrangements.
Step 2
The main conditionally distinguished groups of compositions in floristry: in form - free and geometric, in visibility - all-round and one-sided, in size - small and large. The listed groups are quite enough to implement the idea.
Step 3
Free composition can consist of different colors, be of any shape, in any beautiful container. It assumes the compatibility of fresh flowers with artificial ones. It can be decorated with a variety of accessories: ribbons, bows, stickers, etc. The size depends on the number of flowers and the selected capacity. The main thing is to observe the proportions and maintain the color so that it does not turn out too variegated and tasteless. Here you need to remember the rule of moderation - less is better than a lot and tasteless.
Step 4
Geometric composition will require more attention. The first rule is keeping the golden mean / accurate understanding of the center of the composition /. The second rule is compliance with symmetry / composition should not outweigh in one direction or the other and be stable /. This, of course, does not mean that you need to observe some kind of strict shape: a circle, square, rhombus or oval. The form can turn out by itself, everything will depend on the hand of the creator, on the idea and on the colors.
Step 5
The versatility of the composition assumes that it will be looked at from all sides and everything should be beautiful in it. It can be large, miniature, round, spherical, vertical, or linear. During the manufacturing process, we can rotate the composition and evaluate it from a different perspective.
Step 6
The one-sidedness of the composition lies in the fact that only one side can be done beautifully and wonderfully. She will be facial. And the back will not be visible. Typically, such a composition is performed on a horizontal or vertical plane. It is almost always assumed that it will be on a wall or a stand, or a special stand. Also, in a vertical or linear composition, a so-called "back" is assumed, which is additionally designed to cover possible shortcomings.
Step 7
Small / small scale, miniature / compositions are convenient because they require a small amount of colors and other materials. But still, there are two difficulties: maintaining proportions and choosing colors.
Small-scale compositions usually use small flowers with small buds. Small baskets and vessels are also taken.
Step 8
Large / large-scale / flower arrangements are more suitable for interior decoration. For example, when there is an idea to decorate a room for the arrival of guests or a girlfriend.
Flowers are selected large, massive and in large numbers. The vase or basket must fit the size of the composition. It is important to understand that large flowers require a strong foundation to give them stability. Otherwise, the composition may simply fall at the most inopportune moment.
