It is necessary

  • - balloon (2 pcs)
  • - old newspapers and magazines, school notebooks
  • - office paper (5-6 pcs)
  • - PVA glue
  • - acrylic paints
  • - brushes
  • - compass
  • - scissors
  • - sandpaper (medium and fine)
  • - crepe paper
  • - twigs
  • - pebbles (2-3 pieces)
  • - varnish

Instructions

Step 1

We inflate one balloon. We will need the second one as a spare.

We tear newspapers (magazines or notebooks) into square pieces. It is better if the paper for pasting is of two types. The layers can be alternated and thus it will be clearly visible which places are glued and which are not yet.

Paste the ball over in six layers. After each applied layer, leave a ball to dry. This will save time, since a thick layer of paper will take a very long time to dry, it can take several days, but one layer dries out in one hour.

Make a flagellum out of paper, glue it in the form of a ring to the wide part of the ball-future egg.

Step 2

Paste the ball in two or three layers with large pieces of white office paper. Pierce the ball so that all the air comes out of it, and carefully remove it through the hole in the upper, narrow part of the egg. Cover the hole with paper. Make several layers to mask the hole.

Wait until the paper is dry. Use scissors to cut the hole previously marked with a compass in the side of the socket. Paste the edges with white paper. Dry.

The most painstaking part of the work is behind. The most tedious, but interesting work begins: the egg needs to be sanded. Sand with light, energetic movements, first with medium-sized emery paper, then with fine sandpaper.

Step 3

We clean the ball from dust and cover it with paint in two layers. We paint both outside and inside.

Let's wait a bit until the paint dries. Now let's put some drawings or patterns on the surface of the egg.

When the paint is completely dry, cover the egg with varnish and dry it.

Step 4

Glue the pebbles to the bottom of the dish, spread the twigs, grease with glue and add the crepe paper cut into the noodles.

Put painted Easter eggs in the resulting nest.
