The art of creating balls from identical modules is an exciting activity for those who like to bring joy to their friends and family. This is a great opportunity to pass the time and prepare a gift that will be pleasant to give. You can make a whole bunch of ordinary office paper.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut 12 identical squares out of paper. Side length should not be less than 21 cm. The module is based on a pentagon. To fold it, fold the square diagonally. Then fold the square in half again, marking a line.
Step 2
Fold the apex of the triangle towards the middle of the base side. This will outline another line. Fold one layer of paper so that the top of the triangle is aligned with the intersection of the lines that were outlined earlier.
Step 3
Along the lines outlined on both sides of the center fold, bend the sides of the triangle in different directions. Now bend the sides in opposite directions. Cut along a line at right angles from the top of the triangle to the base. Expand the cut shape. It turned out to be a pentagon.
Step 4
Align each vertex of the pentagon in turn with the center in order to outline the lines. With the vertices aligned to the center, fold the shape. Surplus paper should remain at the top in the form of pockets. For more precise folding, mark in advance the lines along which the fold will pass. Open your pockets.
Step 5
Now the figure needs to be turned over. Mark the lines by aligning the midpoints of the sides with the center. You will get a composition similar to the previous one: pockets are formed, and the fold will pass along the outlined lines.
Step 6
The result is a volumetric module. Open the pockets and flatten them. Tuck the corners inward. Holding along the lines forming a pentagon near the center of the shape, bend the triangles away from the center. Gently straighten the ponytails remaining at the bottom.
Step 7
Make eleven more of the same modules. When assembling, lay the ponytails inward. In the pockets formed at the bends of the tails, insert the tails of the modules located in the neighborhood. Collect modules tightly to one another.
