Gone are the leisurely evening gatherings of the craftswomen. Then the pride of any girl was a heap of embroidered pillowcases, shirts, towels. And now embroidery is a favorite kind of needlework. Only the rhythm of life has changed: it is difficult to find time for such a painstaking task. Modern knitting machines came to the rescue: you can quickly embroider an unusual panel, bright patterns on tablecloths, original appliqués on clothes with a satin stitch or a cross.

Step 1
Modern embroidery machines have a built-in computer that controls the movement of the carriage in accordance with a given program - a multicolor embroidery design.
Machine embroidery technology has its own characteristics and nuances. For a beginner embroiderer, one of the difficulties is the correct thread tension. It is important to follow the step-by-step instructions for the machine model, adjusting the thread tension, for example, through the "I-test". The absence of the upper thread strip of the embroidered letter I (inside out) indicates an incorrect tension. The thread can be adjusted with the tension adjusters, both lower and upper. For the most accurate adjustment, two turns in both directions are sufficient.
Step 2
Keep in mind that the incorrect tension may be due to the weight of the thread. Ideally # 40 threads are used. In addition, as the speed of the embroidery machine increases, so does the thread tension. A too small eyelet of the needle and the accumulation of dust particles affect the increase in tension.
Step 3
Hoop the fabric securely before starting work. It is best to secure the fabric in a round hoop. The rectangular hoop should have rounded corners.
Step 4
Next, transfer the file with the embroidery design to the machine, install the hoop of the suggested size, and thread the colored threads.
Press the Start button (ok) to start the embroidery process. The embroidery machine's built-in computer can move the pattern and rotate it. It is better if the step of movement and rotation is as small as possible (rotation of the design in increments of 1 ° and movement of the design in increments of 0.1 mm). The carriage moves the hoop in two axes. First, the machine embroiders the first color, then it stops with the requirement to change the thread color. Excess thread feeds can be trimmed by ourselves, if this model does not provide for their automatic trimming.
Step 5
At the end of the work, release the fabric from the hoop, iron the embroidery with an iron.
