Sew yourself a sewing organizer in the form of a small book. This job is very simple and fast. This organizer will also help keep your sewing supplies in order.
It is convenient to use such an organizer both at home, for daily creativity, and to take with you on a trip so that unpleasant surprises (like torn buttons or loose seams) do not catch you by surprise.
To create such an organizer for sewing accessories, you will need: multi-colored thin felt, 2 small buttons, threads, a needle, scissors.
Organizer sewing order:
1. Cut out the organizer parts from colored pieces of felt. See the diagram below - the cover of the "book", two white "leaves", four pockets of different sizes. Resize parts to fit your needs!
2. Sew the open pocket, the closed pocket and the scissor pocket, and a piece of felt into which you will stick the needles on the leaflet with the needle forward seam.
3. Sew the felt sheets that have already been sewn into the pockets onto the base of the organizer. To keep the organizer from losing its shape, insert cardboard rectangles between these parts.
3. Sew buttons on the flap of the pocket and to fasten the organizer, then cut the loops.
of course, you can sew such an organizer not from felt, but, for example, from chintz, satin, and other thin fabrics, but you will have to attend to the processing of the seams. Moreover, you will need to lay hard cardboard or other sealant, while this is not necessary for a felt organizer.
