The most beloved holidays bring gifts with them. It is important to wrap them in gift paper in such a way as to subtly emphasize their significance. This method of packaging, as making a bag-bag with handles from ordinary paper, is one of the most convenient and original.

Instructions
Step 1
Determine exactly the size of the gift you are going to wrap. It is enough to find out its diameter or perimeter. Add a few centimeters to the resulting value for free placement of the gift in the bag-bag, as well as 1.5-2 cm - on the glue seam.
Step 2
Measure the calculated value from a roll of wrapping paper and cut the sheet. The height of the finished bag will be approximately 2/3 of the width of the roll. In this case, a small amount of paper will be used to strengthen the top of the bag and make the bottom.
Step 3
Fold the cut sheet in half so that one cut protrudes 1–2 cm. Apply paper glue to the allowance and glue the sheet cuts. Bend your future handbag along the glue seam, iron the folds with your hand. You should have a two-layer blank that looks like a cylinder when flattened out.
Step 4
Next, shape the sides of the bag. To do this, measure the width or radius of the gift from the glue line in any direction. Bend the workpiece according to the marked dimensions, iron the folds by hand. You should have a rectangular volumetric detail in front of you.
Step 5
Complete the top edges of the purse. They need to be made tight so that the handles can be attached to them. Very carefully, so as not to tear the paper, fold the edges inward twice, 3 cm each. At this stage, you can shorten the purse, if necessary, and the size of the bottom should be accurately calculated.
Step 6
Fold back the bottom of the blank by an amount not less than the width of the side of the packaging bag. Otherwise, the bottom will turn out to be weak. This fold is the line along which you will shape the bottom. Iron all folds carefully with your hand. Bend the sides inward first. Glue the main parts, which are close to trapezoids, overlapping each other. Use one hand to firmly press the part to be glued from the inside. Use only paper glue, otherwise the bag may lose its shape.
Step 7
Use an awl to pierce two pairs of holes in the purse to secure the handles. Prepare two equal-sized pieces of colored tape. Now thread the braid through the holes using a short line and secure to the wrong side of the purse by tying knots. To do this, fold the line into a loop and thread it through the hole. Insert the end of the tape into the loop and gently pull the tape and loop out to the right side.
Step 8
Stick the appliqués of various auxiliary materials onto the surface of the package with a glue gun. These can be dried flowers, leaves, glitter, etc. You can glue a postcard or draw something. Your packaging bag is ready.
