Crocheting is not only a great pastime, but also a way to create unique pieces of your own authorship. For example, you can knit a braid that will delight both you and your loved ones.
Instructions
Step 1
A simple braid is performed as follows. First, cast on a chain of air loops.
Run the second row from right to left.
Step 2
Cast on the loops by carefully inserting the hook under the vertical wall of each loop from left to right across the entire width of the canvas, without turning the work.
Step 3
Next, knit all the dialed loops in turn, and once knit the last dialed loop, then two loops, until there is only one loop left on your hook, that is, the initial loop of the next row.
Step 4
The final row of the fabric will turn out to be very loose, so after you have knitted the fabric of the desired size, you need to knit the last row, consisting of connecting posts.
The right side of the canvas will be in the form of a pigtail, the left will consist of one thread.
Step 5
To complete the shaped lines on the braid, you need to knit in incomplete rows. Remember that the tying methods on the left and right are different.
Step 6
Calculate the number of decreases in rows and loops from the pattern. To subtract from the right, at the beginning of each row, make the estimated number of connecting posts instead of a set of loops, and then dial the loops as usual.
Step 7
To subtract from the left, at the end of each row, undershoot the estimated number of loops, close the row as usual.
When securing the loose edge, make a common row with connecting posts, simultaneously securing all rows of the shaped line.
