Minecraft is a wonderful open world sandbox game. There are several ways to move in it. Here you can fly, ride animals, run and even use different types of transport.
Instructions
Step 1
To navigate Minecraft on foot, you need to use the movement keys. By default, the keys W, A, S, D and the space bar are used for this. W is for forward, S for reverse, A for right and D for left. You can jump with the space bar. If you press W twice, you can go to run. In recent versions, this mode can be activated with the Ctrl key. In running mode, you will move 1.3 times faster than walking, but your hunger meter will be depleted much more intensively. Please note that running is impossible if you have only 3 units of satiety left.
Step 2
You can use mounts in the game. They can be pigs or horses. To control a horse, you only need a saddle; to control a pig, you will have to make a fishing rod with a carrot in addition. Please note that you cannot create a saddle yourself, you can only find it. Horseback riding is a fairly convenient type of transportation. Horses can jump high and overcome bodies of water, pigs do not jump so high and become uncontrollable in the water. Pigs breed with carrots and horses with golden apples. To move, use all the same keys W, A, S, D.
Step 3
A boat is the most convenient way to travel on water. It can be made from five blocks of boards by placing them in a bowl on a workbench (fill the bottom horizontal line completely and the side cells of the middle horizontal line). You can swim very quickly on a boat, but keep in mind that a high speed collision with any obstacle, in particular an octopus or a water lily leaf, will destroy the boat. So it is best to have one or two spare boats in your inventory, as if you are traveling by sea, sailing to the shore without aids can be quite uncomfortable and long. You can get into the boat by pressing the right mouse button; pressing this button again allows you to get out of the boat.
Step 4
Railroad and minecarts are another way to move around in the game. It should be borne in mind that the construction of a railway is a rather long process. In order for the trolleys to move along it without problems, it is necessary to install an electric block through 25 blocks of ordinary rails; there must be more electric rails on the ascents. After the construction of the railway, the trolley just needs to be installed on it. You can get in and out of the trolley with a single right-click.
Step 5
Flight is only available in Creative Mode. This mode must be selected when creating a world. To start flying, you need to double-click on the space bar. Pressing this key once allows you to climb higher, twice - exits the flight mode. There are a huge number of game modifications that add special items, for example jetpacks, which allow you to fly in the "Survival" mode.
