Step 1
One of the easiest ways to knot knots is considered a knot with a clumsy loop. Insert the hook between your left index finger and thumb behind the curve. Thread the end of the line through the hook ring and pull. This should be done from the side of the bend, which will ensure productive striking and the correct position of the hook in the mouth of the fish. Then move the hook to your right hand between your index finger and thumb. Take the ring and press the fishing line to it. The end of the line should be 7-8 cm long.
Step 2
Hold the hook between the index and thumb of your right hand by the ring. Bend the line with your left hand and slide back towards the ring. Move the hook to your left hand again and fix the loop you made on the line.
Step 3
Wrap your right hand around the shank of the hook with the loose end of the line. Keep pressing the loop of the line with your left hand against the curve of the tip. At the same time, with your left hand, press each new turn around the forearm.
Step 4
Follow this pattern for about 8 turns. In the process, clamp the winding with your right hand to secure it. With your left hand, place the end of the line into the loop.
Step 5
To finish knitting, tighten the loop. Stretch the main line and its end in opposite directions. Pull the knot against the ring. Cut off the excess line. You do not need to cut off at all, you should set aside 2-3 mm. This will ensure that the knot does not come loose.
Step 6
Also among anglers, the snake knot is no less popular, which is considered the most reliable when connecting lines of the same diameter. It is knitted in two ways.
Step 7
Winding method with inner spirals. Wrap one free end around your own and someone else's root ends at least 3 times. Pass the free end between them and tighten the spiral that forms as a result of these actions. Do the same with the other free end. Then tighten the knot at the root ends.
Step 8
When knitting with external spirals, the sequence of actions is as follows. Wrap one root end with the foreign free end. Bend it back and pass it before the first turn of the spiral between the lines. Repeat the same steps for the second free end. Pull firmly on the loose and root ends at the same time, finally tightening the knot.
