In addition, the system of ranks and improvements has been significantly redesigned in the game, which makes it difficult for many players to master the game, and in particular with the modification of weapons.

Step 1
When playing online, the first step in installing a weapon modification is to acquire a game rank. In total, Battlefield 2142 features 40 statuses that you will receive sequentially and 3 "special" prizes for places in the standings. You can get any bonus only when playing on official servers - for this, in the licensed version of the product, go to the main menu and select the "Play online" item. You will be taken to the official server lobby, where you can choose any match you are interested in. Then click on it and select "Connect".
Step 2
Complete tasks. Your rank is determined by the total number of points in your profile. Points, in turn, need to be earned by receiving three types of awards: badges ("kill 5 people in a row"), ribbons ("spend 40 hours playing online") and badges (issued for active play by a specific class). Having collected a certain number of points for these achievements, you get a new rank, and with it the opportunity to choose an improvement of the weapon.
Step 3
Go to the "Modification" menu after you have received a new rank. You can only choose one new item each time. Please note that 50 bonuses account for only 40 levels, so it is physically impossible to collect everything. Select an upgrade and drag it from the "shop" panel to the appropriate slot in your character's inventory. Return to the game - the modification will stay with you.
Step 4
Download a cheat from the Internet to open all weapons. If you do not have the ability (or desire) to open weapons for online play, you can do it in the LAN game and with bots. Download the cheat archive from the game's fan forum and unpack it to any directory you like. Inside you will find several files and a.txt document, which will indicate where you need to copy the downloaded.
Step 5
After replacing the game files, launch Battlefield and when playing with bots, you will have all modifications open. In addition, if you connect to a LAN server, you also retain the advantage. This does not apply to online games, because statistics of your achievements are stored on the server.
