The principle of the gypsy dance is based on an increase in tempo. That is, the gypsy dance, starting at a moderate pace, gradually becomes more energetic and fast. There are other characteristic steps and movements in gypsy dances.
Instructions
Step 1
Walking with a skirt is a common dance gypsy step, in which the dancer's feet are placed in a special way. With such an inverted position of the legs, the body of the body lags behind them, the head is slightly thrown back, the hands hold the hem of the skirt, opening it to the sides. As a result of this dance step, it seems that the dancer is floating in the air, almost without touching the ground with her feet.
Step 2
Shaking on high half-fingers in gypsy dance is the following body position. The legs are tightly closed, the body vibrates slightly due to the movements of the calf muscles, the body is slightly curved, the dancer's hair hangs freely in the air, and does not lie on the back.
Step 3
Usually, the previous two steps of the gypsy dance are followed by a wide cross stroke, in which the woman tosses her skirts with her foot, crossing her leg. At the same time, the dancer's body bends, her arms are extended forward. Every two steps, the cruciform movement is performed in the opposite direction.
Step 4
Another popular gypsy dance movement is the sideways move through the squat. In such a pas, the legs of the gypsy are closed, and she moves to the side, alternating stepping from heel to toe. At the same time, the knees are slightly bent.
Step 5
The gypsy dance usually ends with a sparkling climax, during which men perform fractions with their feet, and women circle around them, waving their skirts, falling on the floor next to them, bending the bodies of their bodies and shaking their shoulders at the same time.
Step 6
All existing gypsy dances are divided today into three main most common directions:
- dance of urban gypsies or pop classical dance (accompanied without vocals);
- Tabor folk dance (accompanied by vocals);
- Hungarian dance with a lot of tap and fractions (accompanied by singing with a guitar).
