Photos of designer clothes make up the portfolio of a professional seamstress. The quality of the images is directly related to the sale of the clothing and the success of its manufacturer, so it is important to take into account all the little things in preparation for shooting.
Instructions
Step 1
Clothes can be removed on a model or mannequin, or flat on a hanger. First, select this shooting option. If the former is preferred, the costume should accentuate the beauty of the model. If necessary, add accessories to your clothes: bracelets, belts, beads. Such manipulations are not necessary with a mannequin or a hanger.
Step 2
Choose bright, but not harsh lighting. It should be soft, emphasizing the texture of the fabric. Avoid harsh shadows from fabric folds. Use reflectors to fully illuminate all the details.
Step 3
The background should contrast with the color of the clothing, but not stand out. Often a white background is used for such shooting, but you can take pictures in the interior or in nature if you wish. In this case, the idea of the background should be in harmony with the mood of the costume, and the color should contrast.
Step 4
When photographing clothes on a model, do not forget to emphasize its beauty favorably, expose the light and play with color, depending on the type of her figure. In some cases (when shooting trousers, dresses, tops), it is allowed to cut body parts that the model is not wearing (from the neck, from the head, etc.).
Step 5
Disadvantages (spots in the background, wrinkles on the model, etc.) can be removed either by using lighting during filming, or later, when processing the frames.
