Instructions
Step 1
The visiting card of the festival for the second year is the "Exhibition of Gardens" - a landscape competition where you can get acquainted with dozens of picturesque gardens and installations. The gardens created by landscape designers and architects are united by the competition theme "Movement in the Garden". The jury will be chaired by renowned British architect John Brooks.
On the territory of the Gardens Exhibition, you can admire the works of landscape art and get practical advice on arranging your garden, see ready-made design solutions or spy on certain finds on the combination of plants in the garden. Visitors to the festival will be able to purchase quality plants, home and garden decor elements, designer accessories and useful garden utensils at a specialized fair, and on the opening day of the festival, on June 25, a presentation of a new variety of phlox will take place.
Step 2
The Gardens and People Festival is a serious project that reveals the capabilities of Russian nurseries, landscape designers and architects. The goal of the festival is to show that beauty and harmony can be born even from a combination of very simple and familiar plants, but the main thing is that the garden should be viable in Russian conditions, and not as a project for several days. Therefore, to create author's works, all plants are carefully selected in Russian nurseries, and the use of planting material from Russian producers is one of the main conditions for exhibitors.
Step 3
Every day of the Exhibition of Gardens is filled with various events - these are creative meetings in the Green Lecture Hall, master classes for children and adults, interactive programs, poetry evenings and open-air live music concerts.
From June 25 to July 5, any visitor to the Gardens Exhibition will be able to participate in the competition and win a real garden! The results of the competition will be announced on the last day of the Garden Exhibition - 5 July.
Come to relax with the whole family, have a photo session, wander barefoot on the grass or sit with a book in a cozy corner of the garden.
